After a long career as an OB/GYN doctor, Susan retired with her husband and two dogs to the mountains of North Carolina.

She completed her WEMT at SOLO Southeast in 2019 and began teaching WFA students along with the OB/GYN portion of the WEMT classes.

She and her husband, Erik, have shared many adventures over the years including motorcycling across the USA, sailing their boat along the coast of Maine, hiking, and sea kayaking.
