Jen grew up playing in the mountains and creeks of Colorado. After graduating college with a degree in Psychology & Spanish, Jen spent most of her 20s working and traveling around the US before landing in North Carolina.

Jen comes to SOLO Southeast with over a decade of experience working in the outdoor world, as a Wilderness First Responder, guide, expedition leader, and outdoor ed instructor. She currently also works part time as a ski patroller at Cataloochee.

In her free time, Jen loves riding her bike, snowboarding, backpacking, jumping into cold bodies of water, and recklessly crafting and baking.
