ASHI CPR & AED Certification Course

Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) is a recommended certification for outdoor professionals and is required to maintain SOLO certifications. If provided immediately after cardiac arrest, CPR may double a patient's chance of survival. This 2-hour course teaches adult, child, & infant CPR and AED, as well as choking rescue in accordance to the American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI) curriculum. This is a two-year certification.

Why SOLO Southeast? Our instructors have extensive outdoor experience and are selected for their expertise in emergency medicine and rescue as well as for their teaching abilities. You are learning from the best - in the best location. SOLO Southeast's main campus is located at the intersection of the Nantahala River and the Appalachian Trail at NOC's Wesser Campus, meaning you learn wilderness medicine IN the wilderness. "Our organization has been using SOLO Southeast for several years to help meet our training needs. Each year, SOLO Southeast trains over 20 crew members and staff from American Conservation Experience in WFA, WFR, CPR and AED. SOLO is top notch and their instructors are knowledgeable, engaging, insightful, humorous and have tons of relevant field experience. We feel better knowing that our crew members and leaders have received excellent training before going out into the field for a season of conservation work." - Adam Scherm, Southeast Director, American Conservation Experience
